Purpose of this website
Holy Map is a novelty entertainment website. Visitors pay a small fee to display a national flag and a self-chosen name on a country of a world map until somebody else pays more. It is not a game of chance, it carries no prize or payout, and it takes no position on any border, territorial dispute or people.
Content and liability
Display names are submitted by visitors and are not the opinion of the operator. Report anything that breaks the rules to dzaferovicbenjamin@gmail.com and it will be removed. Country shapes and borders come from the Natural Earth dataset and are illustrative. Flags are shown as team colours, not as a claim of sovereignty.
Your data
What is collected, why, and how to have it removed is set out in the rules. In short: a public display name that you choose freely, and the email address the payment provider passes on so you can be told when your country is taken. Nothing else, and nothing is sold.
